Making it Clearer to Register

I am collaborating with TMU Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst to enhance their UX by developing high-fidelity prototypes that rapidly iterate on design ideas. These prototypes play a crucial role in guiding the design and development teams as they restructure content to align with user needs. Here’s a quick look at some of the impactful changes we’ve made so far.

To reduce cognitive load and improve decision-making efficiency for users, I focused on ensuring that key information is immediately accessible at a glance.

Previously, users were provided with a title, short description, and link, but they still had to click through to discover important details, such as program dates, course delivery methods, registration status, and cost.

By moving these critical details upfront, I’ve streamlined the process, introducing standardized availability states (Registration Open, Wait List, Complete) and refining the information hierarchy. This ensures users can make informed decisions faster and with greater confidence, improving overall user experience and reducing unnecessary friction.
