Where The Plane Was Built While Flying
CommunitiCare Health
With a long-standing relationship with Four Villages, we were invited to build a website for a new organization that they had recently amalgamated into. The challenge was navigating a tight timeline, as both the branding and the website had to be developed concurrently.

Ultimately, we had about four months to build a website that needed to reflect an organization still coming together operationally and still deciding on its brand.
I wouldn’t say “no logo, no problem,” but here’s how I optimized that time:
Focusing on Functionality
We concentrated on defining clear functional specifications for each page and structuring the information architecture to ensure that the site mirrored the organization's real-life processes. This not only provided clarity for the client but also outlined the exact content that needed to be created.
Early Developer Involvement
By involving the developer from the outset, we kept the project aligned with scope, enabling the communications team to prioritize key features while suggesting a phased rollout for less urgent elements.

Branding Flexibility
Since the brand was still evolving, I developed a range of visual options to accommodate different branding directions, ensuring the site could evolve as decisions were finalized.
Modular Design
With the content and branding still in flux, I adopted a modular design approach in Figma to offer maximum flexibility in adapting the site to future needs.

This approach allowed us to maintain momentum, deliver a website within the timeline and on budget, but more importantly ensure that the design remained adaptable to future branding and content changes.
